Sony announces in Japan a new tablet to start the week. The Xperia Tablet Z is a 10.1-inch Android 4.1 tablet that comes with features similar to its smartphone counterpart. The difference, however, is what is inside the slab: a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with microSD expansion, a 10.1-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution and Mobile Bravia Engine 2, an 8.1-megapixel back-facing Exmor R camera, NFC functionality, LTE ratio, and Sony’s S-Force virtual surround sound technology.
