Samsung Galaxy Note II |
Despite a US court ruled against them
in regards to Apple’s accusation of patent infringement, Samsung
introduced the second generation of the Galaxy Note as planned.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II, which was formally unveiled at the IFA
trade show in Berlin, features a narrower–but longer–5.5-inch screen.
It has a faster processor and the software is more adaptable for the
phablet’s included stylus.
Despite the hype Apple has been generating with every iPhone release,
Samsung has been selling more smartphones than Apple in 2012. It is
mainly because Samsung develops several smartphones for different types
of customers, such as entry-level phones for the price-conscious market.
It is interesting to note that the original Galaxy Note and its
succeeding model are not included among the list of Samsung’s devices
Apple wants banned in the United States.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II will go on sale in Europe and Asia
beginning October. No word whether it will be available in the U.S.
Our money is on the “not likely.”
