Sony Xperia Smartphones |
Apart from the new Xperia Tablet S, Sony Mobile also introduces its latest smartphones included in the Xperia line, all of which are slated to be available globally in the fourth quarter.
The three smartphones consist of the premium Xperia T (center), which
features an HD screen and Near Field Communication capabilities; the
mid-range Xperia V (left), with similar features to the T but comes with
LTE goodness; and the entry-level Xperia J (right).
Both Xperia T and V will run on Android 4.04, which can be upgraded
to 4.1, and are equipped with Sony’s Mobile Bravia multimedia process to
ensure display clarity. The two smartphones will also have 1.5GHz
dual-core Qualcomm processors, while the Android 4.0-powered Xperia J
will pack a single-core Qualcomm chip.
The Xperia T has the largest screen at 4.55 inches, while the Xperia V
has a 4.3-inch display–both with 1280 x 720 resolution. The Xperia J,
meanwhile, has a 4-inch display with 480 x 854 resolution. All three
smartphones have two cameras, with the Xperia T and V having
13-megapixel rear-facing shooters, bigger than most current smartphones
offer.
The Xperia T also has the biggest internal memory among the three at
16GB, while the Xperia V has 8GB, and the Xperia J settles for 4GB. All
phones sport a 32GB microSD card slot.
