out this year. It comes with both front and back end cameras, a 4GB
memory. A 5-inch touchscreen display and comes with five downloaded apps
when purchased. There is also a wealth of learning apps and fun games
that kids can download into the LeapFrog LeapPad 2 Explorer. Features
wise, the LeapFrog LeapPad 2 Explorer comes out on top. However, it comes at a price as it costs a lot more than the InnoTab 2 at US$125.
Fuhu NABI Tablet
Another kid’s tablet now available in the market is the Fuhu NABI
tablet. It is an Android tablet that comes with a faster 1.3 GHz
processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, is WiFi ready and comes with a
7-inch touchscreen display. It comes in a simple and streamlined design
with a rugged case that also makes it look like a typical adult tablet.
But the bright color gives it that touch of being a kid’s tablet. It
also comes with a wide range of educational software developed by the
same company that made the tablet. This tablet has the most advanced
features to date for being a kid’s tablet. One of its downsides is that
it is one of the heaviest at 2.7 pounds. This makes it an ideal tablet
for kids who are much older and may not be ideal for kids who are 5
years old below. The Fuhu NABI is also one of the most expensive kid’s tablets in the market as it costs US$200 at Amazon.
