Microsoft Surface |
People who have been itching about how much the Microsoft Surface cost have their questions answered, as Microsoft announces the prices for its first-ever homegrown computing device.
The Microsoft Surface, which is expected to be available October
26th, will be priced starting at $499. The tablet does not come with a
cover that also works as a keyboard, which was prominently featured when
the device was first introduced.
There will also be a $599 model that comes with a black
cover-keyboard, as well as a $699 model with that cover and a greater
data storage capacity–64 gigabytes, compared to 32GB in other versions.
Note that Apple’s latest iPad starts at just 16GB.
The cover-keyboard hybrid comes in various colors and can be purchased for $119.99.
