Samsung Galaxy Note II |
While all five major wireless carriers in the United States will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Note II, it is only now that we get to know when this handheld device will become available… at least in one of the carriers.
Sprint, which is under the process of being taken over by Softbank,
has announced that the phone/ tablet hybrid will be available in their
sales channels beginning October 25th with a $299 price tag.
The announcement comes after U.S. Cellular unveiled its $299
on-contract price tag for the same device, but stopped short into
revealing the exact date of its release apart from “late October.”
The Samsung Galaxy Note II sports a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos
processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, and an updated S-pen
stylus. It also comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, a bit taller
than its predecessor.
Sprint will offer both the white and gray versions of the Galaxy Note
II, which goes well with Sprint’s LTE network… if it’s available in the
area.
