"Sony Vaio Tap 20 Desktop Hybrid"

Sony Vaio Tap 20

The computer is rapidly evolving today as newer versions and concepts are being offered that will try to change the way people see the device. The tablets today have just done that and have suddenly changed the current habits of many people when it comes to using computers. The tablets have somehow changed the way people go online as the tablets have somehow lessened the people’s use of desktops. Other companies like Sony are trying to even change the computing landscape by coming up with newer hybrids like the Sony Vaio Tap 20.

The Sony Vaio Tap 20 is a class of its own as it is a hybrid of a desktop PC and a tablet. But what makes it unique is that it may be the very first tablet device to have a 20 inch display. It is aimed to become a multiuser tablet if it is not being used as a desktop PC. But it would not be your typical tablet in any sense since it weighs 5.2kg and has 504mm x 312mm x 45mm dimensions. It would probably become a household tabletop tablet since it can easily be moved from one room to another, but not something that can fit into a bag. The Sony Vaio Tap 20 may provide households with a new way of using computers in the home. The Sony Vaio Tap 20 may not be designed with the best in computing power in order to fit in all the features in its slim and portable design. But it does have an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, a 4GB to 8GB SDRAM and Intel HD Graphics 4000. It also comes with a USB port in lieu of an optical drive. The Vaio Tap 20 will also have a 750GB hard drive to store all the rich content users would want to have on their hybrid tabletop tablet. The Sony Vaio Tap 20 is expected to be available by the end of October for around US$880.
