This unique Clarion Ceiling Speaker belongs to the new 01Drive Series of devices from Clarion. This particular device is designed for use in homes and can be installed on the ceiling itself, a unique feature that not most speakers can offer. It operates by pairing with Bluetooth devices to stream audio into the speakers. It allows for wireless playback of music from smartphones, the primary device used for music listening nowadays. The Clarion 01Drive Ceiling Speaker just integrates the use of a popular music device like a smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled devices to offer a unique music listening experience in the home. The Clarion 01Drive Ceiling Speaker was recently put on display at CEATEC 2012 in Japan which was held in the first week of October. There’s no word yet from its maker on when it will be available in the market or how much it will eventually cost.
