"Sony Vaio Duo 11 Ultrabook Hybrid"

Sony Vaio Duo 11

Sony seems to be on its way of trying to add in some interesting design innovations with its latest launch of devices. It seems to be no longer just content in trying to follow the dictates of today’s market by coming up with the same devices all over again. Proof of this renewed focus is seen by the introduction of the new Sony Vaio Duo 11 Ultrabook.

The Sony Vaio Duo 11 Ultrabook may be unlike the ultrabooks available in the market today. This interesting device follows a slider hybrid design that can transform a full-function ultrabook PC into a tablet. It comes with a Surf Slider design instead of the usual clamshell that most people are more accustomed to. It is primarily a tablet that can be converted into an ultrabook by means of its slide out keyboard for optimum productivity.
The new Sony Vaio Duo 11 comes with an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor and with a choice from 4GB to 8GB SDRAM. It also comes with either a 128GB or 256GB SSD and Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics module. It features an 11.6 inch Full HD OptiContrast panel that offers both touch and handwriting inputs as provided by the Windows 8 OS the device uses. The new Sony Vaio Duo 11 for the mobile user is expected to be available by the end of October with a price starting at US$1099.
