"Asus Unveils Three VivoBook Touchscreen Laptops"

While the iPad Mini was being unveiled in California, Asus has its own press event in New York. Among the gadgets Asus introduced is a line of lightweight, touchscreen-equipped laptops called VivoBook.

The Asus VivoBook consists of an 11.6-, 14-, and 15-inch models that are competitively priced. The 11.6-inch Asus VivoBook Q200, which also goes by the name X202, comes with a Core i3 processor and starts at $499. Meanwhile, the S400 will start at $599 and the 15-inch S500 will cost $649 and above.
All VivoBooks will have options for Core i5 and i7 processor, although the i3 is the starting spec. It also comes with 1080p screens and solid-state drives.
