"ARM-Powered Samsung Chromebook Arrives in Google Play"

Samsung Chromebook

The recently-unveiled ARM A15-based, Samsung-branded Chromebook ultrabook for Google has been spotted at the Play store bearing a $249 price tag and a shipping period of three to five business days.

The WiFi only laptop, which was already available to pre-order through Amazon, features an 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, dual-core Samsung Exynos 5 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD, HDMI out, ports for both USB 2.0 and 3.0, SD card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a battery life of up to 6.5 hours. And just like previous Chromebooks, every operation works within the Chrome browser.
This marks Google Play slowly becoming a storefront for Google’s own hardware. No word yet on whether the 3G-equipped counterpart will also share shelf space along with the Android apps, but it is still available for pre-order in Amazon for $329.
