Samsung Galaxy S II |
Since it would be ridiculous to purchase a contract-bound Samsung Galaxy S II
today, with a newer version of the phone now available, T-Mobile
decides to make its version of Samsung’s erstwhile smartphone available
without a contract.
The T-Mobile version of the Galaxy S II will be sold for $299 in
Walmart, compared to the $550 price tag if you buy the same smartphone
outright. The only downside to this is that you must also purchase a
no-contract plan of at least $30 monthly, which you can discontinue
whenever you want.
The basic $30-per-month Monthly4G plan offers unlimited mobile Web
(with the first 5GB at up to 4G speeds), unlimited text messaging, and
100 minutes of talk (with 10 cents per minute in excess).
