"Motorola RAZR i, Its First Intel-Based Smartphone, Unveiled"

Motorola RAZR i

Google-owned Motorola has unveiled its Intel-powered RAZR i smartphone. It may not be the first time Intel has been incorporated in mobile devices, but Motorola is arguably Intel’s biggest smartphone partner.

Customers may confuse the RAZR i to the recently-released Motorola RAZR M. Even Motorola could not tell the two smartphones apart, as the Verizon-branded RAZR M was posted on its official Facebook page in announcing for the RAZR i. The difference of the two devices lies on the RAZR i’s dedicated camera button, which is absent on the M.
Other features of the Motorola RAZR i includes a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED, Gorilla Glass screen; Circle-laden UI; 2,000 mAh battery; and a Kevlar trim around the back. Of course, this smartphone sports Intel’s single-core Atom Z2480 Medfield chipset, which yields speeds at up to 2GHz.
No word on the price yet, but the RAZR i is expected to be available in the UK, France, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico beginning October. Whether the phone will be available in the United States remains to be seen.
