A French blog has leaked several photos of what could be the iPad
Mini, which Apple may introduce this October. While Apple has yet to
confirm the existence of a smaller version of the iPad, rumors about the device’s specs have circulated, and these photos could certainly add to the speculation.
The leaked photos–eight in all–feature what supposed to be the iPad
Mini shown from all angles. There is a rear-facing camera, the black
Apple logo and the “iPad” brand printed over a white cover.
One of the photos shows an iPhone 4S placed on top of a series of
cases ranging from the supposed iPhone 5, the so-called iPad mini, and
the current iPad.
The French blog cautioned about the pictures it published, pointing out that it could be a “simple Chinese clone.”
Launching a mini version of the iPad could help Apple battle the smaller tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Note and Google’s Nexus 7.
