Some people still like the feel of tactile keys as they type on their
smartphones. Sprint understands this demand and sets to launch the
Motorola Photon Q, which comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, beginning
August 19th. The Photon Q, which eerily looks like the Droid 4, will set you back $199 with a two-year contract.
The new smartphone for Sprint also features a 1.5GHz dual-core
processor of unspecified nature, a 4.3-inch qHD ColorBoost LCD screen,
an 8-megapixel camera at the back, and even NFC support. The Photon Q
also appears to be running on a tweaked Android Ice Cream Sandwich seen
on the Atrix HD.
Pre-orders for the Motorola Photon Q are now accepted.
