Archos GamePad Gaming Tablet |
Tablets really have taken the gadget world by storm. With all their
touchscreen display glory, tablets really have come to fascinate a lot
of consumers well enough to drive the demand for them. With many more
tablets still trying to drive up the interest in the device, the demand
is still going strong and even getting better than ever.
But despite the novelties and features that tablets offer, there are
some things that a simple touchscreen display just can’t offer. In
gaming for example, there are still people who long for tactile buttons
to use while playing games using their tablets. That is probably the
reason why Archos came up with its new GamePad Gaming Tablet.
The new Archos GamePad Gaming Tablet combines both the features of a
full-fledged tablet with tactile buttons on the side designed for
offering that classic gaming experience. This Android gaming tablet
comes with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and is powered by a 1.5GHz
dual core processor with a Mali 400mp quad-core GPU. It runs with the
Android 4.0 OS and comes with physical control buttons and analog pad
for gamers who yearn for some old school gaming experience. The Archos
GamePad Gaming Tablet is expected to be available sometime in October of
this year. It is expected to cost around 150 Euros or around US$188.
