If you are a sucker for your iPhone, you know how agonizing it is to
have your smartphone die down when you need it the most; even double if
you do not have your charging cord with you or cannot find a wall outlet
or USB port to charge your phone. A Kickstarter project is set to make
charging the most convenient thing ever.
On the surface, the Everpurse
looks like your ordinary coin purse until you put your iPhone inside.
It charges your iPhone wirelessly! The secret is in its charging mat
that works by using the Qi standard of inductive charging, taking as
much as six hours for the smartphone to be fully charged.
Developed by married couple Dan and Liz Salcedo, the Everpurse is
primarily targeted for women, but i do not see any reason why men should
not have one of these.
As of this posting, the campaign has reached double its funding goal
of $100,000 with eight days to go. Once mass produced, the Everpurse
will come in fabric ($175) and leather ($230), each with three color
options. Note that it will work on the iPhone, including iPhone 5, as
well as select Android devices.
