"Truphone Unveils Nano Tru SIM"

Truphone Nano SIM

Truphone has been providing low-cost international calls to hundreds of thousands of SIM-equipped device users. At CES 2013, the company announced the availability of a nano version of its Tru SIM, which would enable iPhone 5 and iPad mini users to connect and communicate in and between over 200 countries without exorbitant roaming fees.
The nano Tru SIM complements Truphone’s existing micro SIM and standard SIM variants that are already available.
“Smartphones and tablets are getting smaller, lighter, and more powerful,” said Marc LeMaitre, Truphone’s vice president of technical sales in the US. “Manufacturers are focusing on the device aesthetics and user interface and we’re focusing on keeping those device owners connected–wherever they are.”
The Truphone nano SIM has multiple subscriber identities, so you can have multiple international phone numbers on a single device without swapping SIM cards. Truphone subscribers also receive a voice and text mailbox, over-the-air updates, and 24/7 access to customer service while traveling abroad.
