We tend to lose small items and gadgets that would take hours–even days–to find. This simple solution could make your lost item hunt a little more bearable.

StickNFind is a small adhesive disk that you can place on any flat surface or attached to a keychain. Inside is a replaceable watch battery with over a year worth of power, a Bluetooth module and antenna, a LED-lit ring, and a piezoelectric speaker. It also comes with a free Android or iOS app that lets you locate any StickNFind with a 100-foot range.

The current version can only display the distance between you and the missing item, but an update–which is set to hit before this device ships–will include directions to lead you directly to your target. You can also activate a faint-sounding beeper and a LED ring around the perimeter of the StickNFind, thus helping you find your lost gadget even in a dark room. It also features a “virtual leash” that alerts you when the sticker goes beyond the range, as well as a “reverse virtual leash” that makes the disk beep, a sign that you have left your smartphone behind.

The StickNFind is currently available for “pre-order” on Indiegogo for as low as $35 for two stickers, with an estimated shipping date around March.
