Technology has allowed devices such as camcorders to now come in different shapes and sizes. There are now camcorder models designed for a wide range of uses. For those who like to create videos with one’s point of view in mind, Panasonic is introducing the Panasonic A100 Wearable Full HD Camcorder.
The Panasonic A100 Wearable Full HD Camcorder is not designed to be a typical camcorder. It comes with camera lens body that can be worn on the head using an Earhook device, even without a helmet. This allows users to record video in Full HD from a first person point of view.
The Panasonic A100 Wearable Full HD Camcorder comes with a control unit attached to the camera lens housing through a cable. The control unit can also be worn instead of being held all the time, thanks to an accompanying armband. The Panasonic A100 Full HD Camcorder comes with 1/4.1″ BSI sensor, F 2.5 bright lens that work well in low light levels. Advanced Image Processing LSI features allow this camcorder to capture high quality Full HD footage even in dim lighted areas. Its housing is also designed to be waterproof and dustproof. WiFi connectivity allows it to be used for online video chat sessions as well.
The camcorder also comes with a built in image stabilizer to help compensate for vibrations and nasty shakes and to enable users to capture steadier and better quality videos even while moving around. The Panasonic A100 Wearable Full HD Camcorder is currently available for pre-order at a price of around US$300.
