Sony Xperia E |
Sony has announced its latest smartphone in the Xperia
line. The Sony Xperia E features a 3.5-inch HVGA display with 320 x 480
resolution and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (even though its specs
list indicate Ice Cream Sandwich). The handset will be available in
single or “Xperia Edual” mode SIMs.
The company also brags about the Xperia E’s power-saving feature: a
special software that disables WiFi and data traffic when the screen has
been on sleep mode after several minutes. The dual-SIM version enables
users to switch between carriers and “stay on the most cost-effective
plan” with a single touch.
Other features include 1GHz processor, HD Voice and Walkman xLOUD
technology for crisp sound quality, wireless DLNA connectivity, and 1500
mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia E will be available in black, white or pink. It is
expected to be shipped in first quarter of 2013 and we will know its
pricing scheme by that time.
