Microsoft Office for Android and iOS Leaked |
Every time a rumor about Microsoft Office appearing on Android and
iOS comes out, Microsoft would flatly call it “inaccurate.” And now
that supposedly screenshots of Office for mobile platforms are leaked
out on The Verge, we can clearly see why.
While the iOS and Android versions (iOS seen here) of Office Mobile
are believed to be real, these free apps would only allow users to view
their Office documents on their handsets rather than full-fledged
productivity suites. If users insist to unlock the apps’ editing
functionality, they have to subscribe to Office 365, but these features
are basic at most. You will still have to use your 365 on desktop or
Surface to realize its full potential.
The Verge boldly reports that Office Mobile will be launched early 2013.
