HTC Droid DNA |
Smartphones are ever getting more and more advanced by the day. Just
when you think you have a smartphone that is updated by today’s
standards, another one may be coming out in two to six months’ time that
may be a step above what you have. But that is the crazy path that
smartphone innovation follows these days. The next smartphones just have
to trump the ones before it. In the case of the HTC Droid DNA, it is
the 1080p screen.
The HTC Droid DNA was recently unveiled by Verizon in a joint launch
event with the smartphone maker. This smartphone is the stateside
counterpart for the Japan-only HTC J Butterfly.
This smartphone comes with a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor with
2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It also comes with an 8MP rear camera
capable of 1080p video. The HTC Droid DNA runs on Android Jelly Bean
boosted by HTC Sense. The screen is a 5-inch super LCD3 capable of
displaying HD1080p resolution. It also comes with 2020 mAh lithium ion
batteries compatible with Qi wireless charging. The HTC Droid DNA is
expected to be available exclusively at Verizon in November 21 for
US$199.
