"Wall Ye Robot"

Wall Ye Robot

Versatile robots still have several years of development to go before they can be fully utilized to help humans do daily tasks. But despite that, there are now robots that can do specific jobs that may still be quite as helpful. Robots that perform specific functions still prove to be valuable that they also matter. And for the Wall Ye Robot, the task may include helping wine get to your doorstep.

The Wall Ye is probably the first robot to be developed to help the wine industry. This unique robot is designed to help wine makers and vineyard owners to prune vines. It may be a good replacement for manual labor in the vineyards. But it can also do more.
The Wall Ye Robot also has the function of taking in valuable data regarding the plants and the soil using its 6 built-in camera and records it. It also comes with its own GPS and gyroscope for location awareness so that it does not stray off to a place where it shouldn’t be in, like a neighboring vineyard perhaps. It s creator, Christophe Millot will be conducting demonstrations of what the Wall Ye robot can do for a number of vineyard owners in France. The services that Wall Ye can provide comes at a steep price- it may cost US$32,000 to own this robot.
