Txtr Beagle E-Reader |
Paperbacks and other traditional books are said to go the way of the
dinosaur. But many people still relish the action of turning the pages
of an ordinary book. At least it’s the actual experience that many
people just don’t want to let go just yet. But just the same there are
also some e-readers out there that try to vie for that book reader’s
attention. One of them is this Txtr Beagle E-reader.
The Txtr Beagle may not look like anything but a simple e-reader. But
it is this simplicity that may be its attractive feature. And true
enough, it is quite simple in its 5 inch screen, 4GB storage and
Bluetooth connectivity. There’s no touchscreen, WiFi or even 3G
connectivity. It is that simple.
The Txtr Beagle may also be the smallest and lightest e-reader around
with a 5mm frame and a weight of just 128 grams. It is powered by 2 AAA
batteries that are good for reading 10 to 15 books. Books can be
uploaded via its Bluetooth feature by way of Bluetooth-enabled Android
smartphones. And for all its simplicity, the Txtr Beagle E-reader
costs only US$15 to have. Its price may just be enough to attract
people to have it. This diminutive E-reader will have its initial launch
in Germany and may just find its way stateside or any other place where
people read books.
