"HP Introduces ElitePad 900 Business Tablet"

HP ElitePad 900

While the current tablets are primarily designed for consumer use, there is an increasing demand for tablets designed for business use. Although business tablets are not entirely new, with the market already existing even before the boom of the consumer tablets, demand for them has only grown recently. A big part of that increase in demand may stem from the acceptance of the tablet among consumers. And with that HP has recently introduced the new ElitePad 900 for business enterprise users.

The HP ElitePad 900 business tablet is an ultrathin and lightweight tablet designed for the Windows 8 OS. It comes with a 10.1-inch diagonal display that is designed to support touch-, pen- and/or voice-based input offered by Windows 8. It comes with a 16 by 10 aspect ratio, making it ideal for viewing traditional business applications as well as media content. It weighs just 1.5 pounds and 9.2mm thin.
But aside from that, the HP ElitePad 900 also comes with a wide range of HP Smart Jackets and other additional accessories aimed to boost its productivity functions in different ways. And also, added security features provided by HP Client Security ensure that the tablet comes with enterprise grade data, device and identity protection. The HP ElitePad 900 business tablet is expected to be available for corporations and the government sometime in January of nest year. Pricing details are expected to be announced sometime prior to its availability on the market.
