"Apple CEO Tim Cook Throws Shade on Microsoft Surface"

Tim Cook

It didn’t take too long for Apple to diss on Microsoft’s new Surface tablet. Apple CEO Tim Cook throws some blunt words during the company’s announcement of its quarterly announcements yesterday, even saying that he hasn’t even tried the Surface.

“(What) we’re reading that it’s a fairly compromised, confusing product,” Cook said. “I think one of the things you do with a product is make hard trade-offs. The user experience on the iPad is absolutely incredible.”
Of course he has to say that.
“I suppose you could design a car that flies and floats, but I don’t think it would do all of those things very well. When people look at the iPad versus competitive offerings, I think they’ll continue to want an iPad.”
This is coming from the company who said that a smaller iPad is “clearly the wrong tradeoff” and look at that stunning iPad Mini they just unveiled.
