"Samsung’s Latest Ad Attacks iPhone 5"

Samsung Genius

Samsung has challenged Apple’s iPhone 5 with advertisements published in major newspapers.
The copy reads, “It doesn’t take a genius,” followed by a comparison of specs between the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III. The list shows the S3’s features being twice as long as that of iPhone 5. At the bottom of the ad, Samsung finishes with another caption that reads “The next big thing is already here.” You can check out the full advertisement here.

Samsung has a reason why it brags the Galaxy S III as “the next big thing,” after a recent report shows the S3 becoming the top-selling smartphone in the United States, beating out iPhone 4S.
Fans of Apple did not take the ad lightly, creating new versions of the Samsung ad to favor their beloved gadget brand. Some of the fake ads include captions that read “Don’t settle for cheap plastic” or “It doesn’t take a genius to figure out which of the phone [sic] is uglier.” Other fake ads added many of iPhone 5’s features that were originally left out by Samsung, or added Galaxy S III’s flaws and allegedly copied features.
This is not the first time Samsung has attacked Apple through its advertisements. Last year, the South Korean company ran TV ads that poked fun at Apple fans who wait in line for the new iPhone.
