Many device designs nowadays revolve around the functionality of
smartphones. They try to enhance or even boost some of these features to
make the smartphone even more appealing. In the case of LG, the camera
functions of their smartphones are enhanced by having the LG Pocket
Photo Picture Printer around.
The new LG Pocket Photo is a portable photo printer designed for
smartphones. It features Zink technology that uses heat in printing 2″ x
3″ photos on Zink paper. The result is instant photos that are thinner
than and not as bulky as those Polaroid prints. The LG Pocket Photo can
wirelessly connect to an LG or any other compatible Android smartphone
via NFC, Bluetooth or USB connection using an Android app. What makes it
an ideal companion to your smartphone is that it is quite compact at
2.8″ x 4.7″ x 0.9″, its size even being considered as the world’s
smallest mobile photo printer to date. The LG Pocket Photo Mobile
Picture Printer is set to hit Korean market shelves any time soon at an
expected price of around US$169. It would be more than welcome if it
gets stateside sometime later but there’s no word on that yet.
