Apple has distributed
invites to various press organizations of its launch event on September
12th in San Francisco, where the next-generation iPhone could be
officially unveiled.
There are also rumors of a follow-up event in October, when Apple will supposedly introduce its miniature 7-inch iPad.
Even the name of the next iPhone remains a secret until now. It could be iPhone 5,
“the new iPhone,” or something else. The keynote speech kicks off at
10 a.m. Pacific Time, which will be covered live by various sources.
