BB10 Screen |
In case there are people out there interested about the upcoming BB10
mobile operating system, BlackBerry maker RIM confirmed the
standardized screen resolutions for BB’s touchscreen and keyboard
devices.
Time Neil, head of RIM’s Application Platform & Tools Product
Management, posted the details on the company’s developer blog. The
BlackBerry 10 OS will arrive in its full-touch devices with a resolution
of 1,280 x 720, while keyboard-equipped phones will pack a 720 x 720
resolution. There is one exception, however, as BlackBerry’s presumably
flagship BB10 device will yield a 1,280 x 768 screen because it is “too
late” to change it.
RIM also urges developers to perform necessary tweaks to ensure their apps will run properly on the new OS.
