Looks like the Nexus 7 will not be the only tablet with Android Jelly Bean.
If the tipsters from Droid-Life are to be believed, the Motorola Xoom
tablet will also get its OS upgrade, which the aging tablet desperately
needs.
However, not ever proud Xoom owner will be getting the Jelly Bean
goodness. Only the U.S.-made WiFi model is assured of a Jelly Bean
upgrade, while we have yet to hear the same for the Verizon WiFi
version. Meanwhile, owners of the 4G Xoom model will have to wail over
their choice of hardware.
You can now check for the Jelly Bean upgrade by going to the device’s
settings and check for the new update. If it does not appear
immediately, simply clear the Google Services Framework (click
Settings>Apps>All>Google Services Framework>Clear Data)
first. It may require several attempts, but the update will pop up
eventually.
