Archos Gen10 XS Tablet |
Tablets have become quite popular in that they become more convenient
to bring along compared to a laptop or notebook, given that the device
is primarily used to go online. But with competition among tablets
becoming fiercer as they become more popular, the handy feature becomes
even more important along with the increase in the tablet’s
capabilities. With features that the new Archos Gen10 XS tablet offers,
the path towards thinner tablets become even more pronounced in the
tablet market.
The new Archos Gen10 XS Tablet features the Android 4.0 OS and is
powered by a 1.5GHz smart multi-core processor. It also comes with a
10.1 inch touchscreen display, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, WiFi and
Bluetooth connectivity as well as full access to Google Play. But what
makes this new tablet interesting is that, despite its larger screen
size, the Archos Gen10 XS tablet weighs only 21 ounces and measures just
0.31 of an inch thick. This makes it one of the latest ultra-thin
tablets to be coming out in the market.
Another innovative feature that the Archos Gen10 XS tablet has is the
Coverboard. It works as a protective cover for the tablet when not in
use and also doubles as a physical keyboard with its own kickstand and
dock for the tablet for easy typing. The Coverboard will become a
standard accessory for every Archos Gen10 XS tablet.
It is expected to be available sometime in mid-September. It is
expected to cost around 300 UK Pounds or somewhere in the US$400 range.
