Sony KDL-46XBR4 Flat-panel TV

Sony LCDs are one of the best performing LCDs today. The market release of the really attractive KDL-XBR4 introduces TV fanatics, delivering the deepest, most realistic black levels in a 46-inch LCD. Color accuracy’s excellent, with its fame attributed ti 120Hz processing which aids in smoothening of judders in motion. This high-end HDTV may be very pricey for some, but if one aspires for the perfect smoothness, then this is an excellent choice.

Design isn’t actually at par with svelte but is definitely attractive. The Sony KDL-46XBR4 measures 49.8 x 31.4 x 12.8 inches, the matching black stand included. Without the stand, the dimension will be 49.2 x 29 x 4.9 inches. Aside from the distinctive floating glass design, the LCD color can be changed by attaching a different colored bezel and changing the cover of the stand.
Video options contain setting for video processing such as Motion Enhancer, CineMotion, Game/Text Mode, Photo/Video Mode, xv Color Space mode, photo color space, color matrix setting and an RGB dynamic range setting. The Screen menu also offers a solid selection of four aspect ratio controls for both standard-def and high-def source.
The fantastic picture quality of Sony KDL-46XBR4 elevates itself as one of the best performing flat panel LCD. Although some would argue that the menu system needs some getting used to, no other flaws can surface up. And yes, it’s expensive with price ranging from $2,250 to $3,300, but it’s worth it anyway.
