When it comes to laptops today, thin is in. that is why ultrabooks are becoming more and more popular by the day. Not only are they thin and slim, they are also usually quite light enough so that they are not a bother to bring along just about anywhere. And just to give people something to look forward to, Acer has come up with the new Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook.

The new Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook features many of the things that people may be expecting from a laptop but not from something with such a thin profile. The Acer Aspire S7 sports a touchscreen surface and is powered by an Intel Core i5-3317UB CPU.  It also comes with a 4GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD and is only 0.48 inches thin and weighs at around 2 pounds. The Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook will be featuring a Windows 8 OS when it comes out. The 11-inch version is expected to be available sometime around the end of October, starting at US$1,200. The 13.3-inch versions with different specs will soon follow.
